This relatively late release from 1980 isn't less interesting. Why? Because of it's tenderness. A new side in Chico's oeuvre. There are so many beauties featured on the LP - not easy to pick faves for the soundclip...

Followers of the bin’s selling activity might have encountered me praising the man. On Peregrinations he’s staying in the deep like El Exigente, but adds the funkiness of El Chico. The unbeatable A side is actually one of my favourite sides of 70 Jazz-Funk out there. It starts with a bang (that lovely Luke Vibert found fitting for the intro of Plug’s Feelings) and then we’re off into a spiritual - sometimes psychedelic - trip through the funky jungles of Chico’s mind. Wether you want to make the dancers at your loft party shed tears of joy or enjoy this all killer album over headphones - home alone - you'll be having lots of fun as there's not a single dull moment on the album. El Chico brings his latin percussion set, deepness galore and some humour too. This is his masterpiece imho. Enjoy the ride!
